The Lagniappe Environmental, L.L.C. Principals believe in being actively involved in community volunteer activities. Here is some information on their volunteer involvement.

Woodlake Playground

Mr. Luwe has been the President of the Woodlake Booster Club at Woodlake Playground in Kenner since 1993. This is a volunteer position for the 501C3 non-profit booster club.Mr. Luwe directs the activities at Woodlake for the 300 families that utilize Woodlake and raises about $60,000 annually for the Booster Club, providing uniforms and equipment to over 1500 participants in the sports of baseball, softball, football, cheerleading, volleyball and basketball. Mr. Luwe also coaches baseball and basketball at the playground and his teams have won several Kenner city championships.

Dr. Hauck has been the Chairman of the UNO Alumni Golf Classic for the last 4 years and has been on the UNO Alumni Advisory committee for 10 years. Dr. Hauck has directed the efforts to raise scholarship funds for the UNO Alumni Association and has raised over $45,000 in the last four years. This is a volunteer position as well.
